When you are just starting out playing cricket it is not always easy to choose what you need to acquire. If you go into a sports retail shop & ask them what you need, you will probably finish up getting a considerable amount of kit that you don’t need. Hence, it is best to fathom what you may require previous to you going shopping. That way you are more likely to purchase what you want, as opposed to what the store manager advises you need.
Below, is essentially an exhaustive cricket equipment list, you do not require to get all the kit on this list, as lots of organisations will provide you equipment especially at junior level:
Cricket whites, cricket bats, balls, helmets, gloves, batting (wicket keeping) inner gloves, wicket keeping gloves, batting pads, wicket keeping pads, box, chest pad, arm guard, inner thigh pad, cricket boots (bowling boots; batting boots), box (groin guard), stumps and bails. Find cricket equipment online at Sportswear-Equipment.com.
For most cricket events you will ever take part in you will need to have your own set of whites. Cricket whites include white cricket trousers and cricket shirt. It is very important to make sure that you get an excellent pair of cricket trousers and also a good white cricket shirt & jumper as it can easily get pretty cold if you are standing out on the field for a long time especially if you are playing in England (the start and end of the season are the coldest).
If you can not borrow kit from your club the other most critical items of equipment are a cricket bat and box. A good cricket bat is crucial if you intend to score a lot of runs & is a very special piece of cricket equipment, therefore spend a few hours selecting your bat, in an ideal world you would be recommended to go to a sports store and test drive one before you buy so you know how it feels to hit with. (Once you know what you want you can often buy bats on the Web considerably cheaper). You need a good box to guard your groin from the ball, as getting hit down below’ is particularly painful, so investing in a good box before you start is a clear must - you can not play cricket without one.

New Web sites are springing up online by the millions. However, when they don’t reach a level of success, the Web site owners assume that they can’t make money off the Internet.
Wrong.
The one thing that is important to know, however, is that you do have to work to make money online. Just like having a regular offline business, the online business needs to be taken care of, the Web site continually updated, and the customers made to feel safe and secure when doing business with you.
So, let’s devote this article to simple things you can do to have a successful online business. Remember that books have been written on this subject, so this article won’t be all inclusive by any means.
But, for the average Web site owner, it will give you simple steps to take to turn your online business down the right path toward achieving success.
Future of the Internet –
In January of 2003, Roy H. Williams, who is widely known and respected as the “Wizard of Ads,” finally declared, “Now is the time to get in.” For years, Roy has been watching and predicting the Internet’s future. Back in 1996, he declared, “The Internet is a baby born premature.” He even predicted the great dot com crash that we’re still recovering from.
So what does Roy have to say about the future of the Internet? Roy says that the buying public has finally figured out how to use the Internet and what it’s good for: specifically, “information gathering and features-based comparison-shopping.”
What does Roy suggest for Web sites today?
1. Ignore heavy graphic sites and focus on providing information for your visitors.
2. Build confidence by interacting with your Web visitors and anticipating and answering their questions.
3. Don’t think “advertising” - think information delivery.
4. Focus on Web site architecture (a simply designed site) and exceptional writing.
5. Help your visitors find what they’re looking for within a few minutes of landing on your site. If you make them hunt for information, they’re gone.
For more information such as what was mentioned above, subscribe to Michael Campbell’s newsletter. Michael is one of the most well-known Internet marketers, and his newsletter is exceptional. http://www.internetmarketingsecrets.com
For more information about Roy H. Williams and his advertising philosophies, visit: http://www.newsbios.com/wizard_of_ads.htm
So, with Roy’s predictions in mind, let’s look at some ways to make our Web sites stronger, more visible, and have a better chance at being successful.
Purchase your own domain name -
Having a professional image is very important on the Web, and it begins with having your own domain name. Having your Web site located at AOL or one of the free Web hosting companies takes away a level of professionalism.
Let’s face it: purchasing a domain is cheap! Did you know that you can purchase a domain name for $21.95 a YEAR?? That’s it! From there, you’ll want to use a professional hosting company, which will provide an address for your Web site. Combustion Hosting will be glad to take care of purchasing your domain name for you, moving your “old” Web site to their location, and hosting the site for you. Their rates to “host” your domain begin at only $15.49 a month, which is an excellent price. “Hosting” a domain simply means to provide an address on the Web for your site. http://www.combustionhosting.com/moreinfo
Naming your domain -
Before you rush off to purchase a domain, let’s talk for a minute about naming your domain. Most businesses want to name their domain after the name of their company, which is understandable. However, if you can name your domain using keywords that people might be searching for when looking for the products or services you provide, you’re giving your site a small edge with the search engines.
For example, if the name of your company is Simply Southern, and if you purchase the domain name simplysouthern.com, you’re not using any keywords in that domain name, and someone seeing that domain name will have no idea what your site is about.
So, why not purchase simply-southern-catering.com, which will give the engines (and your visitors) a keyword phrase that describes your site: catering.
Your e-mail address –
When you set up your own domain name, be sure to use that domain name in your e-mail address, such as:
Robin@searchengineworkshops.com
Again, this adds a level of professionalism to your business. In my case, I have an e-mail address through my local ISP, which is how I access the Internet. I use a nickname in that e-mail address. Therefore, rather than use that e-mail address, it would be better for me to use the above e-mail address that’s connected to my domain name and online business.
Professional image -
When you have a Web site, you want to portray a professional image. You want your visitors comfortable enough with your online business to purchase whatever it is you’re selling.
So, don’t let your 12-year old nephew design your Web site with cutesy graphics of cartoon characters. Instead, have it designed by a professional. To save money on Web design, you can always have the designer create the main page of your site and maybe one or two interior pages, and then develop a “template” for you. Templates are “skeleton” Web pages containing just the basic design, and you can then cut and paste the rest of your pages into the template and finish up the site yourself, if you’re comfortable with working on your own site.
If you have a software program that allows you to create and work on Web pages (which is called an HTML editor), you may be able to find templates for that program that will allow you to create your own site with a professional look. FrontPage is an easy to use HTML editor that is just like working with a word processing program. If you can use Word, you can use FrontPage. At the URL below, you’ll find a huge assortment of templates that were created just for FrontPage, which would make creating your own site very easy. http://www.thetemplatestore.com/frontpagetemplates.asp
You can also read this article about FrontPage, which contains a link to an online tutorial for learning how to use the program. http://www.searchengineworkshops.com/articles/FrontPage.html
Or, if you’d rather have someone else create your Web site for you, look in your yellow pages and find someone locally. Or, try Look Sharp Designs, which will create Web sites for a very reasonable price. And, their designer also knows how to create Web sites that are “search engine friendly,” which is a big consideration when looking for a Web designer.
http://www.looksharpdesigns.com
Web site design -
If at all possible, keep your Web site design very simple. Don’t use frames, excessive graphics, database-generated pages, Flash home pages, or lengthy JavaScript. Each of these design strategies can present problems for you when you’re trying to get a good ranking with the search engines, which is where you’ll probably get the majority of your traffic.
So, if you hire a professional Web designer, make sure he or she knows that you want the design kept simple.
Let’s face it - when YOU go to a Web site, you would much prefer a simple Web site, wouldn’t you? You want to find what you’re looking for quickly and easily. You don’t want to have to spend time trying to find something. And, you don’t want to see a Flash movie that crashes your computer or that keeps you from getting into the site where the real content is. You want the CONTENT!
In fact, one study shows that Americans experience “search rage” if they don’t find what they’re looking for within 12 minutes.
Keep that in mind when you’re designing your own site. Use simple, clear navigation. Include a site map that has links to all of the pages in your site. This site map is valuable to both your users and the search engines.
Keep graphics to a minimum, and only use them when you want to point the eye to a certain location.
When you use graphics, here’s something else to consider.
Let’s say that you are a real estate agent, and your home page is covered with your awards, a picture of you, and maybe the logo of your company. Do you think your visitors care about your awards or your picture? No! They want to see pictures of the houses you’re selling! They want to learn about the schools in that area or the crime rate. They want to see a mortgage calculator. They want to see content! Put yourselves into the shoes of your visitors, and think about what your visitors want to see, not what YOU want to show them.
If you use a picture of a house on the main page of your site, use a picture that has a happy, smiling family in front of the house, obviously pleased with the new home that you’ve sold them. The visitors will automatically put themselves into the picture with the happy family, and they’ll be more receptive to becoming a potential home buyer. But, just a picture of a home on the main page of your site doesn’t evoke those emotions.
Or, if you sell toys, don’t just have pictures of the toys. Have pictures of smiling children playing with the toys! Appeal to the emotions of your Web site visitors.
Keep in mind another thing regarding graphics. The search engines can’t “see” the graphics. So, if you have a page that is loaded with graphics, there’s no way that the engines can know what the page is about. Therefore, offer a paragraph or two of text above the images that describes what the page is about. Give the engines something to index, and your pages will have a better chance of visibility in the search engines.
Build valuable content –
When people come online, they generally aren’t looking to buy something. Instead, they are looking for information. Consider your own Web site. What information can you provide that would help attract visitors (and search engines) to your site?
Let’s say that you have a local store that sells TV’s. Could you create content that would be beneficial and possibly provide cost savings to your Web visitors? For example, are there any little tips you could offer to extend the life of a TV? Or, could you write content that focuses on the latest innovations in TV’s? What about a page that deals with the history of television? The more content you build, the stronger you’re making your Web site, and the better chance you have that the visitor will return. Plus, as a huge bonus, the engines love a content-rich site, so you’re boosting your chances at better search engine rankings.
Remember that you’re also “introducing” your online business to these visitors. You’re creating name recognition and credibility. So, when the visitors are in the market for a TV, won’t they consider an online business that they can trust? Make it your goal to be that online business!
More to come later
As you can see, we’ve just scratched the surface when it comes to having a successful online business. In the next month or so, I’ll cover more tips, which I hope will help you turn your Web sites into true online businesses that will make you some money.
In the meantime, you may want to take some training that will help boost your chances at achieving online success. Here are a couple of choices:

Should you be scanning for a cracking bargain on Dishwashers, shopping on the world wide web can be an exciting way to save treasured time and currency. If you’re tired of browsing round high-street business after high-street store looking for your brand new dishwasher then why don’t you go on line and begin browsing.
You certainly should regularly acquire your appliance from shops you very much trust, but when you are faced with a large range of unfamiliar stores on the world wide web picking can be problematic. A marvellous way to avoid buying from unreliable options is to buy with on-line stores which additionally possess a good high street location. You should also be certain to read over the terms & conditions of all web-sites you are actually mulling over purchasing from.
One other tactic to discern a trust-worthy web retailer When you are surveying the market for quality dishwashers is to be sure to find out whether they possess a dispassionate and elucidative shoppers guide. Consulting a shoppers guide might well also bring to the forefront some points you will not have considered if you were just buying without advice. The aforementioned can include; power consumption, extra features and dryer capacity amongst other considerations. Looking on poor quality websites for high quality dishwashers is a waste of your time.
Be aware of concealed costs - value added tax and delivery fees that are added on at the checkout may often transform that initial superb price that you found for your dishwasher into something very unremarkable.
Some internet shops are quicker than others - if the speed at which you obtain your new dishwasher is simply not an issue then this may simply not bother you a great deal. Still, if you’d rather not be manually washing the knifes and forks and pans over Xmas then you might want to pick a shop who gives you guaranteed home delivery times.
Dishwashers can generally look the business when they are in a display room or on a site but end up disappointed when they reaches your families house. So be doubbly sure to check the return policy of the web-site you are ordering from.

Dial up Internet service providers, or ISPs, are mostly organizations, companies or business that provides people who want access to the information superhighway the chance to do so. People who use dial up ISP are provided immediate access to the Internet through their own telephone lines. All you need is a computer, a telephone line and a modem that serves as the medium and channel between the phone line and the computer. Dial up ISPs provides users Internet connections that are around 56 kilobytes per second, or less.
Dial up ISPs also provide other services - they are not just limited to dial up access. They also provide Internet transit, domain name registration and domain name hosting. These dial up ISPs are mostly telephone companies, but not all of them are.
One of the disadvantages of relying on dial up ISPs is a slow connection. This sluggishness can be particularly annoying to people who are use to accessing the Internet through fast DSL, cable or broadband subscriptions. The average Internet speed through dial up ISP services is only 30 kilobytes per second, or 50 at most. But many people like dial up ISP because it is less expensive; if you don’t need speed, use dial up.
Finding the right kind of dial up ISP for you is not very difficult. However, the thing that you should remember is that, just like deciding on any other product or service, the best dial up ISP is the one that will provides quality service and gives you exactly what you need.
Dial Up provides detailed information on Dial Up, Free Dial Up, Dial Up ISP, International Dial Up and more. Dial Up is affiliated with Dial Up Access Numbers.

There are several varieties of credit repair agencies. There are the “professional credit counselors”, the “credit experts”, and various other descriptions that basically mean the same thing. Then, there are the law firms which will help you repair credit report inaccuracies.
The first thing to look at is exactly what services these credit repair agencies offer and how much they charge for these services. If you only have one or two pieces of inaccurate information on your credit report, you may be able to take care of this yourself. You can view your credit report on line, free of charge, once a year at www.annualcreditreport.com. If you need to repair credit report information, you can report the information on line, but the sites are not particularly user friendly. You can contact the company which reported the information and ask them to remove it. You can send a letter to the appropriate credit bureau, letter writing suggestions are made at the Credit Repair Blog (http://badcredit-repair.blogspot.com). Credit repair agencies should be able to take care of all of this for you. If you are paying them to resolve these issues, then you should only have to sit back and wait.
The problem is that some credit repair agencies are only selling information that is freely available if you know where to look. Some of them will handle the letter writing for you. Some credit repair agencies recommend action which is illegal. The only way to effectively and legally repair credit report issues, if you cannot achieve results on your own, is to contact a law firm that specializes in credit repair issues. Not just any law firm, your private attorney may or may not be able to handle this for you. He/she will probably charge more than a law firm which advertises alongside other credit repair agencies.
Even if you do not have problematic credit, it is a good idea to view your credit report on a yearly basis. You can legally repair credit report problems, but it may be difficult. People steal names and social security numbers to finance cars or other major purchases. One young man was unaware that his social security number and name had been used, until the thieves were late making a payment. They had also used his address, so the bank sent the late notice to him. He was unable to resolve the issue with the bank. The police were unable to help him; no one knew where this person actually lived. The credit bureau was unresponsive. His credit score was being damaged and he was not responsible, but he could not prove it. His lawyer was finally able to correct the situation, but it was quite expensive. At the time, there were not many credit repair agencies. A law firm that specializes in credit repair would have been less expensive than his private attorney, but if they existed he was unaware of them.
The Federal Trade Commission advises that consumers should beware of credit repair agencies that claim to be able to repair credit report inaccuracies in a very short period of time. The credit bureaus have thirty days to investigate any claim or dispute. Any credit repair agencies that claim to be able to achieve results in less time should be questioned thoroughly, before you give them any money. For more information about credit repair agencies, visit the Credit Repair Blog.
The writers and editors of the Credit Repair Blog are dedicated to providing accurate information about credit repair agencies. Visit us at http://badcredit-repair.blogspot.com

A new wave of bettors may have stumbled upon the expression “offshore sports betting” recently, though many of them aren’t totally positive what it indicates. A newcomer to the world of investments in the notion of “Virtual Real Estate Investing“. There are many variations on what this term means, encompassing everything from using the internet to aid in real estate investing efforts to participating in online games such as SecondLife.
To find out the real story, I had a conversation with Bryan Ellis, widely considered to be one of the originators of the concept of Virtual Real Estate Investing.
When I began using the term virtual real estate investing in the late 1990s, I did so because I saw clear parallels between the strategies used for profiting from physical real estate and those that would create income in the online world, said Ellis.
An example of the similar nature of “virtual” and “physical” real estate Bryan Ellis likes to point out is the methods of making a profit from domain names compared to physical real estate. He points out that control of a domain name or even a specific web page is much like controlling a real estate property ” those assets can be monetized in similar ways: By selling them for a profit, by leasing them, by offering advertising, etc.
The similarities really are obvious. Consider this: If you own a piece of real estate in a desirable neighborhood, your real estate has value because other people are interested in that location. Similarly, ownership of a desirable domain name is valuable for the same reasons. In either case, you could sell or lease the asset and turn it into cash.
In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

Our confidence cannot rest in our pursuit of technology…
Terry Dashner (www.ffcba.com)
When Rome attacked Syracuse during the Second Punic War, the Roman commander Marcellus expected to capture the city with only a five-day siege. However, the Romans found their land-and-sea attack repulsed by a variety of unusual war machines.
The land forces were met by stones and other missiles hurled from great distances. The naval attack faced catapults hurling five-hundred-pound stones. Syracuse also used cranes. Some of these dropped huge stones on the ships, while others with chains and iron claws picked ships up, spun them around, and smashed them upon the rocks along the shore.
Legend tells us that the city’s defenders also used large mirrors that focused the sun’s rays upon Rome’s ships and caused them to catch fire. The inventor and director of all this somewhat strange war machinery was Syracuse’s most famous mathematician, Archimedes. So effective was his defense that the Romans never tried another assault upon the city.
In 212 B.C. Rome finally captured Syracuse, but with a blockade and trickery rather than a direct attack. Part of the reason for the Syracusans’ defeat was the fact that they so trusted in their machines that they were unprepared in the final hours to use their more conventional weapons (World History for Christian Schools, David A. Fisher, Bob Jones University Press 1984).
The people of Syracuse were so enthralled by Archimedes’ high-tech-weapons-of-war that they forgot how to employ conventional warfare. And, ultimately, the Romans conquered them. I see a parallel in modern-society to this fact of history. It seems we have become so confident in science and technology–it’s ability to save us from annihilation–that we’ve relegated the Word of God to an antiquated status with little relevance. Especially in the local church do I see this. It seems we are placing more confidence in the world’s way–glitz, glamour, and tired programs–than we are in doing it God’s way–proclaiming the same Gospel that our forefathers did.
Here is a case in point. Psychologist Karl Menninger’s 1973 book, Whatever Became of Sin? was not only a startling title but a sobering benchmark to gauge the slippage from the founders’ position. The notion of evil, Menniger argued, had slid from being “sin” defined theologically, to being “crime” defined legally, to being “sickness” defined only in psychological categories. In Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s more recent analysis, Americans have “defined deviancy down.” What was “deviant” fifty years ago is today just par for the course (Time for Truth, Os Guinness, Baker Books 2000).
Here is a case in point. Os Guinness in his book entitled, Prophetic Untimeliness (Baker Books 2003) says this, “So a disconcerting question arises: How on earth have we Christians become so irrelevant when we have tried so hard to be relevant? And by what law or logic is it possible to steer determinedly in one direction but end up in completely the opposite direction?
“This is exactly the fate of a significant number of the articulate leaders of Western Christendom. After two hundred years of earnest dedication to reinventing the faith and the church and to being more relevant in the world, we are confronted by an embarrassing fact: Never have Christians pursued relevance more strenuously; never have Christians been more irrelevant.
“The paradox of modern life is that it pretends to relieve this problem for us even as it makes it worse. On the one hand, modern communication holds out the offer of ‘instant total information,’ or ‘total information awareness.’ Surely it is now possible to be in touch with everything that matters to us, and therefore to be more relevant than ever before. But on the other hand, the outcome of instant, total information is inflation–when more and more of anything is available, less and less is the valuable.” Good point.
“Nothing is finally relevant except in relation to the true and the eternal” says Guinness. And I say, “Amen!”
The point of this paper? It is this. In order for the church to move forward in today’s society, we must reach back to the Book of all books–the Bible. If we are going to impact this culture, this society, this day of modernism, we need to faithfully preach and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It might be an old message, but it is still “News.” It is still relevant, no matter how modern man becomes. Only the timely message of Jesus Christ will change the heart of man and save the world.
We don’t need a unique technique for getting the world’s attention. We need the unique message of the cross. Jesus suffered and died for you and me. He was buried in a borrowed tomb, and on the third day he rose again. If you will believe this, and receive it by faith, you will live again too.
Keep the faith. Stay the course. Jesus is coming again, soon.

Save at least 200 dollars for 1000 dollars of shopping- that is 20% of the total money spent. With common sense and little prudence you can save hundreds of dollars on your holiday shopping bills. From my past experiences, I have chosen the five best practices that will give you the maximum savings. Peruse them, put them into action and email me your numbers on savings.
Comparison Shopping: Gone are the days when there was no easy way to compare the price of a product at different stores other than visiting the stores. In this new era of cyber-shopping, there are numerous options to compare the price of a product at different locations of the globe. With very little effort, internet would find the best and right price, at the right store for you to save big bucks.
A few days back, I was shopping for a Mini DV camcorder in the price range of $500 to $700. An ardent internet shopper, I researched on brands, their prices and decided to buy a JVC GRD200 Mini DV camcorder. It is (may be “it was”) my belief that Amazon.com delivers the best products at the lowest prices (It does sell the best products, but not at the cheapest prices - at least in this case). As always, I was poised to buy the product from Amazon.
The comparison on the price of this product (via www.shopping.com) revealed that the product was sold as low as $299.00. With further research I understood that the price was indeed 299 US dollars. Delaying no more, I bought the camcorder from this seller instead of my first option - to save only $400.
As I look back, it still perplexes me how I saved $400 on a single buy. Does it not surprise you when you cut down 400 dollars on a single item? Perhaps the most important thing I did was comparing the prices for this product on www.shopping.com. It paid!
Cognizant Shopping: As a customer, your goal is to buy the best product at the cheapest price. Right?
You agree with me that it is not an intelligent idea to buy a product for 10 dollars when it is sold at 3 dollars less at the near by store. Neither do you accord it a savvy-shopping, to buy a product for 50 dollars when its price can be reduced by 10 dollars via the special store discount/coupon for the product.
Many of us do not realize the power of coupons. They hold tremendous potential for huge savings. Depending on how you use them, a coupon for 10 dollars for every 50 dollars would save 40 dollars over a period of month, assuming shopping once a week. Extrapolating, it is a 200 dollars savings over a 1000 dollar shopping-money. A typical Christmas shopping would amount to these numbers easily.
Although the example seems to be ideal, it resonates the ideas of retails stores like JC Penny or Sears, whose holiday-shopping-placards read “$10 off for every $50 shopping - JC Penny”, “$35 off for every $250 spent on electronics - Sears”. Get into the habit of using the coupons whenever possible to appreciate the savings accumulating into your pockets.
Selective Shopping: Depending on which state you buy the product from and which store you buy it from, you may or may not be charged a sales tax. If the sale is exempted the sales tax, it is a savings of 6 percent to 9 percent of total sale amount. Each seller clearly indicates if a sales tax would be applied on the sale in the geographical location. Thus, a little cautiousness would translate to a savings as high as 9 percent.
On the downside, you may have to pay for the shipping for the product which in most cases would compare less to the total of sales tax. And, by the way, due to the immense competition among the internet-sellers, you may end up making a bargain by not paying the taxes and not paying for the shipping either. Free shipping - as it is called, is common on many internet sites these days. For an item priced at $1000 you would save as much as $90 as sales tax savings - all you do is pick the right seller.
Early Shopping: Planning on shopping near the beginning of the season will give you ample time to compare the prices on the product at various sellers. During this process, you will form a ballpark estimate of the item.
Let me remind you that the variation of the price can be any where from few dollars to few hundreds of dollars depending on the original price of the product, which makes it necessary for you to do this homework as to know the kind-of best price before you finalize on buying the product.
In addition, sellers usually hike the prices as the holiday season approaches so that they can display higher discount-numbers on their sale-advertisements. The higher discounts not only attract more customers but also compensate and compete the prices for the similar items at other stores. The fact is, even when you see greater discounts, you would not realize tangible savings around the holiday season unless you end up getting an early bird discount. I am somewhat reluctant to say this is true all the times, but is the case in several occasions.
Team Shopping: Like in a workplace, collaborative shopping produces amazing results. You are not mandated to go to a shopping mall as a team, but exchanging ideas and information as a team would be advantageous.
Talk to your friends about their experience buying a similar item in the past. Gather information about the quality of the product, prices at different stores, seller reputation, etc that play a vital role on your buying-decision. Moreover, ask your friends and relatives if they could share any discount coupons. If preferred customer, they would share the coupons with you, which in turn would give you the opportunity to cut down on the final price. Beware that some sellers distribute non-transferable coupons in which cases you need to be creative to maximize your savings.
So finally: These ideas only scratch the surface of the iceberg. You can get innovative and creative to find the best deals on the market. Websites like www.techbargains.com, www.ecoupons.com, etc are some of the few sites that gather information about the greatest deals of the day. Internet has many such great money-saving ideas.
Armed with this information, I am sure you would be able to craft a good plan which would save you many dollars each shopping trip. If you are meticulous enough, you would save at least $200 for every $1000 dollars spent. I guarantee it. If you deny my proposition or have a different opinion write to me and I will help you see the potential of putting the above facts to work.

Nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, and winner of four Oscars, Raiders Of The Lost Ark is one of those rare commercial smash hits that also manages to win widespread critical acclaim from even the most hardened of film critics. After all, any film directed by Steven Spielberg and written by George Lucas has to be an ingenious creation, right? In this case, absolutely. Not only is Raiders Of The Lost Ark one of the more memorable films in history, but its lead character Indiana Jones will go down in history as one of, if not the, most beloved hero in movie history…
Renowned archeologist and college history professor Indiana Jones (expert in recovering ancient objects) is approached by the United States government in regard to retrieving one of the greatest treasures in human history - the Ark of the Covenant. The government fears the Ark will fall into the wrong hands seeing as how Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich are feverishly searching for the Ark themselves…
With a hefty knowledge of the history involving the Ark, Jones sets out to borrow an amulet instrumental in the Ark’s discovery from family friend and ex-lover Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen). But the Nazis also seek the amulet, and Jones arrives just in the nick of time. Now Marion and Indiana will have to work together if they have any hope of saving the Ark from the evil clutches of the Nazi regime. In so doing, they encounter countless Nazis, booby traps, double-crossers, and the worst element of all - snakes!
With an original score by John Williams (Jaws, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, etc.), the theme song from Raiders Of The Lost Ark may well be one of the most recognizable in the history of cinema. Williams’s genius is present throughout every scene of the film (which is one of Spielberg’s greatest triumphs - getting Hollywood to place greater emphasis on sound and music, i.e. emotion, the same as it does for dialogue, character, plot, etc.) Raiders Of The Lost Ark also features the underrated actress Karen Allen (Animal House, Scrooged, The Perfect Storm, etc.) whose career has spanned parts of four decades. In this film, she shines as the headstrong love interest of Indiana Jones…
Home to Harrison Ford’s breakout role, Raiders Of The Lost Ark features the up-and-coming Hollywood talent at his best. Although Star Wars placed Ford in the limelight, Raiders Of The Lost Ark puts Ford in the lead role - where he belongs. A likeable man, exhibiting unrivaled onscreen charisma, Harrison Ford adds the final touches of genius to a film that is as close to perfect as any movie can come. Don’t miss out on this first glimpse of Indiana Jones. A brilliant tale of heroism and adventure, Raiders Of The Lost Ark is a definite must-see movie…
